This is to Deviant Art. Though I love you dearly, I cannot stand the vulgar, sexual content that you allow on this site any longer.

This was suppose to be family friendly, and it is not.

When a picture of some one holding their genitals in their hand at an up close range is considered "okay" (or even art) there is something wrong. When nudity (with no effort or purpose behind it and bad lighting) and blatant sexual gestures are considered "okay" there is something horribly wrong.

Think of it this way. If it isn't allowed in a art gallery because of questionable content that they are worried some people may find offensive (and the artwork isn't intentionally trying to be) or think it could possibly be seen by persons under the age of 18.... then it shouldn't be on here either.

This was a place for artists. Not voyeuristic images. These images on other sites are considered pornography.... and should not be allowed to stay.

So until the way Deviant art treats nudity, and images with questionable content are removed I am taking all my artwork down over the next couple of days and will remain inactive.

For those who agree with my stance on the down slide of Deviant art I ask that you do the same.

Now I am not saying all nude images or images with a sexual theme are bad, but tasteless, careless images of nudity for no good reason seems wrong and degrading to have slapped up all over this once wonderful site.

I have reported a couple of images and so has sugarlessjazz, to no avail. In fact most of the ones we reported others hard tried to report also and they deemed it "okay" to stay up.

This is outrageous to me.

So Deviant art, this is the beginning of a long goodbye.
